Inverter & Rectifier in shed is located near or at high tide
shore line on owners property with AC cable running to
Grid tie-in disconnect-reconnect switch at BC Hydro electric
meter.
Description
Inverter & rectifier (made by ABB) changes DC power
produced by the generators to clean AC power is ULC
certified and conforms to BC Hydro requirements as is the
automatic disconnect-reconnect switch (in case of power
loss in grid beyond the meter). The reconnect part of the
switch has a timer to ensure power is safely permanently
restore in grid).
This complete electrical system is UL CSA certified by the
installing electrical contractor.
